Layer (Dual layer) | Yamaha CP4 has layer function, with this technique, you can play two different sounds simultaneously on one key. You will be able to play ‘piano and string’ sound or ‘piano and organ’ sound simultaneously on one key. You will be able to make the performance more beautiful and will give you more enjoyment.

Yamaha CP4 has synthetic ivory keytops which can absorb moisture, enabling for better touch. Yamaha CP4 has GH3 sensor, grade hammer action, Yamaha put such keys with best sensor in stage piano for the first time. With GH3 sensor, when players want to play fast, repetitive notes, they do not have to strike keys all the way to produce sound like upright piano. The new GH3 sensor with ivory keytop makes CP4 action like grand piano’s.
